Extended Health & Travel

Health care coverage from the government is constantly changing and it no longer provides the coverage it once did. Through our individual insurance partners we can offer coverage options that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Individual Health Plans

Covers common health benefits not normally covered by your provincial health plan such as:

  • Ambulance Fees
  • Private hospital rooms
  • Dental
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Health Practitioners (e.g. chiropractor, massage therapy, etc.)
  • Travel
  • Life and Disability Insurance (limited)

Conversion Health Plans

A conversion plan takes over your existing health plan offered by your employer when you retire. The coverages are similar to your existing plan.

Student Plans

These plans will provide coverage to students living away from home and going to school in a different province. The coverages are very similar to those of an individual health plan.

New to Canada/Visitors to Canada

This insurance provides coverage for short term visitors or new residents to Canada who are not able to get provincial insurance immediately.

Group Benefits

Provides coverage for small or medium sized businesses looking to provide benefits for their employees.

Daily Travel Plans

Travel plans cover you when you leave Canada and even when you leave the province. Your provincial health care plan does not cover you for everything it normally would when you are outside of Saskatchewan.

These plans often include:

  • Emergency medical coverage
  • Ambulance fees
  • Emergency room fees
  • In hospital drugs
  • Cost of family to come visit during extended illness
  • Repatriation costs
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment
  • A monetary settlement in the event that you lose a limb or eye during travel or loss of life

Trip Cancellation Insurance

Provides reimbursement for costs incurred before a trip, if the trip is cancelled for an emergency.
